Tate is a name. It is said to mean pleasant and bright, but not every one would agree. At school, it means people don't know which one. It is uncommon, but it fits into a crowd.

It was another kids name, a kid born only a year before me, and only one block away. My parents took his name and gave it to me. He didn't even know.

I wouldn't want to change my name because then i wouldn't be me. Except when people think its Kate. Or Tatertot. Either way Tate is my name.
